About Eden Reiki

Eden Reiki was founded in 2006 and operates from its base in Newmarket in the beautiful county of Suffolk.

The founder, Lisa Eden decided to set up her small local company in 2006 working from her consulting rooms in Newmarket and from selected beauty salons in the local area. In Spring 2008, Lisa and her teacher, colleague and friend, Lissa Elcock set up the equine Reiki branch of the business concentrating on treating racehorses, competition horses and leisure horses in Newmarket, Cambridge and the outlying villages.

Lisa's interest is in the 'human' side of Reiki and she has many loyal clients in the Suffolk and Cambridgshire area whom she has treated from her beautiful, calm and therapeutic Reiki rooms within a short walk from Newmarket town centre.

Lissa's primary interest lies within the horse world and as a keen rider and teacher, Lissa has a wealth of equestrian experience at hand.

About Me - Lisa Eden

Lisa Eden is 45 and has lived in Newmarket for the past 13 years having lived and worked thoughout the South East and abroad.  Lisa's passion is English Bull Terriers and has recently adopted a rescue bull terrrier called Willow.

Lisa has spent much of her career working within the executive search industry and met Lissa four years ago after consulting her about an ongoing health issue which did not respond to conventional medicine. Lissa was paramount in healing the problem via a number of regular Reiki treatments. Such was the success of the treatment that Lisa ' found' Reiki the perfect antithesis to corporate life and decided to actively pursue a more spiritual path. Lisa subsequently completed her training with Lissa and is now a practising Reiki Master/Teacher with a thriving business in the local area.

About my colleague - Lissa Elcock

Lissa Elcock is 43 and lives in Saffron Walden with two cats. She also has two horses, a thoroughbred and a cob, who are both 22 years young and a further two stable cats who have "adopted" her - in fact, they seem to seek her out!

Lissa has been involved with Reiki for eight years. A practitioner for three and a Master/Teacher for the last five years. Lissa was originally drawn to Reiki to help her thoroughbred who had been abused in the past. Reiki played a huge role in rebuilding his trust and confidence and Lissa has subsequently used her skills helping other horses with a variety of spiritual, emotional, mental and physical conditions.

Since gaining her Reiki Master/Teacher qualification Lissa quite openly and honestly admits that Reiki "has completely changed her life" and she now enjoys both practicing and teaching. Needless to say Lissa's speciality is horses.
